BUMDesa “SEJAHTERA” Punjung Village was established on December 4, 2018. The formation of BUMDesa “SEJAHTERA” Punjung Village is intended to establish a business entity that operates in a field of ccordance with the authority of the Village, is able to provide services to the community, stimulate the economy Village and contribute to the Village’s Original Income.
The aim of establishing BUMDesa Sejahtera Desa Punjung is to increase the Village’s PAD, play a role in encouraging Village economic growth, expand the distribution of development and its results, including opening up business opportunities and providing employment opportunities.

From all this, the Agriculture Unit is the most dominant business. That influenced by natural and geographical conditions as well as the majority of jobs in Punjung Village as farmers.

After the land is ready by providing nutrients and fertilizer for 10-15 days, the land is ready to plant ginger seeds that have sprouted with a minimum of 4 shoots with a planting distance of 40 cm for each seed.
Every 15 days, weeding and maintenance of the mounds is carried out. Also providing nutrition, including compost, compound fertilizer and biological fertilizer. This nutritional provision lasts for 5 months.
Harvesting ginger can be done when the ginger is in ripah condition (the tree is dry) or 8-10 months old.
